
Doghill Fairytale Farm
Doghill Fairytale Farm is a petting zoo in Tampere. You can meet real animals in an environment that takes you back to the old days. You can also meet the famous Doghill (Koiramäki) characters created by Finnish author Mauri Kunnas. Doghill is open during the summer and just before Christmas.
Doghill Fairytale Farm's summer season begins on 9.5.2026!
At Doghill Fairytale Farm you will find the town of Doghill, home to the atmospheric Café von Guggelböö with its tempting display of treats, as well as charming little boutiques that sell candy and souvenirs. At the Doghill farm, you can meet the animal friends and play with traditional old-fashioned play equipment. Doghill is also home to characters familiar from Mauri Kunnas’s books. The Edenred, Epassi, and Smartum culture benefits can be used as payment for admission to Doghill or for the Doghill Christmas wristband.

Elsa, Kille and the Bohemian Broiler – play starting June 8
It’s the best day of the year for Elsa – her birthday! The party preparations suddenly face an unexpected problem when the Doghill chickens disappear, leaving Elsa without eggs for her birthday cake. Where have the chickens gone? Can Kille save Elsa’s birthday? And who is the Bohemian Broiler? Elsa, Kille and the Bohemian Broiler is a lively children’s musical performed daily at Doghill Fairytale Farm from June 8 to August 2, 2026. The play is in Finnish. Duration approx. 20 minutes.
