1. General information about Särkänniemi online store
The Särkänniemi online store – hereinafter referred to as online store – is a marketplace maintained by Tampereen Särkänniemi Oy (Business ID 0155085-6) – hereinafter referred to as Särkänniemi. In the online store, Särkänniemi sells tickets, gift cards and Särkänniemi-themed products such as textiles and other leisure products to private individuals over the age of 18 as well as for companies and organisations who will be hereinafter referred to as the consumer or client.
Särkänniemi is committed to compliance with Suomen Suoramarkkinointiliitto ry's Reilun Pelin Säännöt (Rules of Fair Play) and Sähköisen Kaupankäynnin Säännöt (Rules of Electronic Commerce), as well as with legislation concerning consumer retail.
2. Ordering from the Särkänniemi online store
When placing an order, the customer should provide the following information: name, consumer's address (and delivery address if different from the consumer's address), an e-mail address and a telephone number.
It is possible to order products from the online store with or without registration. A more detailed data file description can be found below.

Särkänniemi's liability for poor product availability, restrictions set by authorities or on imports, or for consumer claims is always limited to a maximum of the cancellation of the trade and the return of money paid.
All Särkänniemi online store products are sold as they are. The consumer is encouraged to read the trade and product descriptions on the online store carefully. Särkänniemi reserves the right to select its customers.
3. Pricing and postage fees
Pricing and other information for products is available at the online store. The online store prices include value added tax.
The choices for delivering the order are e-mail and mailing from Särkänniemi’s ticket sales.
The delivery choices are, depending on the product, mailing and/or e-mail. Products ordered at the same time will be delivered using the same delivery method.
4.1. E-mail delivery
The tickets are delivered to the e-mail address the customer provides. The tickets are individualised by QR codes.
The Särkänniemi Passes and other wristband products are collected on the day of visit by showing the QR code at the Särkänniemi ticket sales on the day of the visit. With other ticket types you can present the QR code directly at the attraction.
Orders will be delivered by mail to Finland and EU member countries. Products can be ordered also as a gift. In this case the delivery address and the customer’s billing address should be written separately. The postage fee is 4,90 euros.
The online store's normal delivery period by post is usually 4-7 business days from the date on which the order was submitted to the online store system. Season card's delivery time is about 7 business days starting when the required additional information for the product (e.g. cardholder's photo) has been submitted. Särkänniemi will strive to inform the consumer if the processing time for a product will exceed 7 days. If the order does not reach the consumer
within 7 days, the consumer should contact the online store's customer service.
All products contained in an order will be sent to the customer in the same delivery. If one product has a longer delivery period than other products, the entire delivery will be sent to the customer at the same time.
Please note! The field trip products and season cards have different delivery times.
Orders valued more than 500 euros will be mailed as registered letters.
4.3. Deliveries which are broken or lost in transit
Särkänniemi guarantees that products are intact upon delivery. If a product is damaged or lost during delivery from Särkänniemi to the consumer, Särkänniemi is liable for expenses caused. The customer has to make a complaint of the damage at the post office with the postal officer and fill a description of incident. The consumer must also inform Särkänniemi online store’s customer services about the damage or loss within fourteen (14) days.
If the product is damaged or lost during product return from the customer to Särkänniemi, the consumer or Posti Group Oyj (Posti) is liable for costs.
4.4. Deliveries which haven’t been collected
Shipment that hasn’t been collected from the post office on time doesn’t qualify as a returned order and in this case the total amount of the order will be charged from the customer.
5. Terms of payment
The payment service is provided by Paytrail Plc (Business ID 2122839-7). Paytrail Plc will be shown as the recipient on your bank or credit card statement. Paytrail Plc will forward the payment to the merchant.
The online store acts as a marketing place and as a supplier for the customer. The online store takes care of the legislations related to sales and other obligations related to the transaction. If you want to make a consumer complaint or return a product, you should directly contact the online store.
5.1. Payment methods
You can use the online payment services of all Finnish banks. You can also pay with the most common payment cards, invoicing and hire purchase.
5.1.1. Bank payments
We have online payment services of all Finnish banks. You can pay with Aktia, Danske Bank, Handelsbanken, Nordea, Oma Säästöpankki, Osuuspankki, Pop-pankki, Säästöpankki, S-pankki and Ålandsbanken online payment services. On your bank statement you can see Paytrail Plc as the payment receiver who will direct your payment to the online store. You are directed to your own bank to complete the transaction safely. 5.1.2. Credit card payments
You can pay at our online store with Visa, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, MasterCard, Debit MasterCard and American Express cards. The online store uses international Verified by Visa, MasterCard SecureCode and American Express SafeKey verification services. You will see Paytrail as the payment receiver on your credit card bill. Paytrail directs your payment to the merchant. Card payments are made securely with a secure payment form and payment card information is not stored in the online store system.
5.1.3. Mobile payments
Mobile payment methods Pivo, MobilePay and Siirto are in-app services that allow you to pay for online purchases by wire transfer from your account or by card payment from your card by accepting payment in the app. With Pivo you can also do so called Siirto transaction, where you can accept the payment on any app that supports Siirto.
5.1.4. Invoicing and hire purchases
OP, Collector, Jousto and AfterPay offer invoicing and hire purchasing services through Paytrail. Collector offers invoicing and hire purchasing options for businesses as well.

The tickets bought from Särkänniemi online store can't be changed or returned after purchase (Consumer Protection Act (Kuluttajansuojalaki) 38/1978, Chapter 6, 16 § (30.12.2013/1211)).
School groups that have bought School Passes have an exceptional returns policy. For example if a student gets sick, the School Pass can be used later during the ongoing summer season or the pass can be returned to our information booth during the day of the visit with a refund form sent to you with the passes. In this case we will refund the price of the School Pass to the bank account written on the refund form after the visit.
Särkänniemi won’t be responsible for problems during the ordering caused by third parties (for example payment services).
Särkänniemi reserves the right not to deliver products if, for example, due to a system error, it has been possible to order products at a substantially incorrect price. In this case, Särkänniemi can cancel the order and return the amount of the order to the customer.
8. Season Card
Season Card is a personal card with photo attached, that gives you the access to all the rides (within safety limitations) and attractions (Näsinneula Observation Tower, Doghill Fairytale Farm and Aquarium) within the opening hours. Season Card is valid for the summer season.
You can use the Digi Card immediately after purchasing it on our website. In addition you can purchase a traditional plastic card. In case of purchasing the plastic card, the card will be delivered to your home by mail within the postal delivery times. You can use the Digi Card immediately also in the case of purchasing the plastic card.
Please show the Digi Card on your smart device at the gate and when visiting rides or attractions. You can also print out the Digi Card. If you wish to use the Digi Card printed out by yourself, please pay attention that the QR code is readable throughout your visit to Särkänniemi. The QR code is connected to your name and photo that are visible on the QR code reader. Misuse will result in invalidation of the card.
Attention! The Season Card photo will be downloaded by yourself. The photo needs to be clear close-up potrait and the person needs to be identifiable. No hats or sunglasses can be worn. Please also check the spelling of your name. The photo or the name cannot be changed after purchase! If you cannot be identified from the photo, the Season Card will not be accepted at the rides or attractions.
