1. General information about Särkänniemi online store
The Särkänniemi online store – hereinafter referred to as online store – is a marketplace maintained by Tampereen Särkänniemi Oy (Business ID 0155085-6) – hereinafter referred to as Särkänniemi. In the online store, Särkänniemi sells tickets, gift cards and Särkänniemi-themed products such as textiles and other leisure products to private individuals over the age of 18 as well as for companies and organisations who will be hereinafter referred to as the consumer or client.
Särkänniemi is committed to compliance with Suomen Suoramarkkinointiliitto ry's Reilun Pelin Säännöt (Rules of Fair Play) and Sähköisen Kaupankäynnin Säännöt (Rules of Electronic Commerce), as well as with legislation concerning consumer retail.
2. Ordering from the Särkänniemi online store
The customer is bound by the valid terms of use each time an order is placed.
When placing an order, the customer should provide the following information: name, consumer's address (and delivery address if different from the consumer's address), an e-mail address and a telephone number.
It is possible to order products from the online store with or without registration. A more detailed data file description can be found below.

Contact between Särkänniemi and the consumer takes place through e-mail and by telephone. The consumer commits to check their e-mail after placing an order. A binding commercial agreement will come into effect once the consumer has submitted and paid for an order. At the same time, they commit to comply with these terms of use for the online store. Once the order has reached the online store system, the system will send automatic order confirmation to the consumer's e-mail. If the consumer wishes to contact the merchant after submitting an order to e.g. change the order, contact can be made via e-mail or by telephone.
Särkänniemi's liability for poor product availability, restrictions set by authorities or on imports, or for consumer claims is always limited to a maximum of the cancellation of the trade and the return of money paid.
All Särkänniemi online store products are sold as they are. The consumer is encouraged to read the trade and product descriptions on the online store carefully. Särkänniemi reserves the right to select its customers.
3. Pricing and postage fees
Pricing and other information for products is available at the online store. The online store prices include value added tax.
The choices for delivering the order are e-mail and mailing from Särkänniemi’s ticket sales.
4. Delivery
The delivery choices are, depending on the product, mailing and/or e-mail. Products ordered at the same time will be delivered using the same delivery method.
4.1. E-mail delivery
The tickets are delivered to the e-mail address the customer provides. The tickets are individualised by QR codes.
The Särkänniemi Passes and other wristband products are collected on the day of visit by showing the QR code at the Särkänniemi ticket sales on the day of the visit. With other ticket types you can present the QR code directly at the attraction.
4.2. Mailing
Orders will be delivered by mail to Finland and EU member countries. Products can be ordered also as a gift. In this case the delivery address and the customer’s billing address should be written separately. The postage fee is 4,90 euros.
The online store's normal delivery period by post is usually 4-7 business days from the date on which the order was submitted to the online store system. Season card's delivery time is about 7 business days starting when the required additional information for the product (e.g. cardholder's photo) has been submitted. Särkänniemi will strive to inform the consumer if the processing time for a product will exceed 7 days. If the order does not reach the consumer within 7 days, the consumer should contact the online store's customer service.
All products contained in an order will be sent to the customer in the same delivery. If one product has a longer delivery period than other products, the entire delivery will be sent to the customer at the same time.
Please note! The field trip products and season cards have different delivery times.
Orders valued more than 500 euros will be mailed as registered letters.
4.3. Deliveries which are broken or lost in transit
Särkänniemi guarantees that products are intact upon delivery. If a product is damaged or lost during delivery from Särkänniemi to the consumer, Särkänniemi is liable for expenses caused. The customer has to make a complaint of the damage at the post office with the postal officer and fill a description of incident. The consumer must also inform Särkänniemi online store’s customer services about the damage or loss within fourteen (14) days.
If the product is damaged or lost during product return from the customer to Särkänniemi, the consumer or Posti Group Oyj (Posti) is liable for costs.
4.4. Deliveries which haven’t been collected
Shipment that hasn’t been collected from the post office on time doesn’t qualify as a returned order and in this case the total amount of the order will be charged from the customer.

5.1. Payment methods
You can use the online payment services of all Finnish banks. You can also pay with the most common payment cards, invoicing and hire purchase.
5.1.1. Bank payments
Online Bank Payments You can pay for your order using any of the online payment buttons of Finnish banks. When you are using the online bank codes provided by your own bank and you want to pay for your purchase, you will be redirected for a while to your own online bank where you can pay for your order directly from your bank account. The recipient for the payment is Svea Payments Oy (or our auxiliary business name Maksuturva Group Oy), that is the payment service provider in our web store.
5.1.2. Credit card payments
Card Payments (Visa, Visa Electron, Mastercard or Business Eurocard) Paying with a credit or debit card is always easy and safe in our web store. Card payments in our webstore are provided by Svea Payments Oy in cooperation with its technical partners. During the transaction, all card information will be handled through a secure connection. Card numbers are not recorded in Svea Payments Oy’s or the webstore’s systems; the card data is processed by the technical service provider.
5.1.3. Mobile payments
MobilePay MobilePay payments in our webstore are provided by Svea Payments Oy in cooperation with its technical partners. Siirto Payments with the Siirto-app Our web store offers easy and secure mobile payments using the Siirto-app. Siirto is a new version of online banking payments. Siirto-payments can be made via Nordea’s Siirto-app and with OP-Mobile. When using a mobile device for payment, the Siirto-app you use opens automatically, while when using a computer’s browser, you can add your phone number in the space provided and accept the payment in the Siirto-app you use. The payment will be debited from the bank account you have saved in your Siirto-app.
5.1.4. Invoicing and hire purchases
Invoice Svea offers you an easy and safe way to make purchases by invoice. When you choose to pay with invoice, you will always get at least 14 days payment time. The buyer must be at least 21 years old. Interest for delayed payments is a legitimate interest for late payment i.e. 7 % + reference rate applied by the European Central Bank. We charge 5 EUR for payment reminders. You can check your open invoices from My Pages. The use of Svea’s invoice requires an approved credit decision. When applying for a credit, the applicant gives permission to request information from other lenders on the customer credit information system of Suomen Asiakastieto Oy. We will also check the applicant's credit information. A customer, whose credit application has been rejected, has the right to apply for a new credit decision by providing additional information through contacting Svea’s customer service.
Svea – Buy now, pay within 3 months Representative example for campaign financing: credit amount €300.00, repayment period 3 months. Total credit costs €5 (invoice fee; interest rate 0%; monthly charges €0.00), annual percentage rate (APR) 10.44%. Total amount payable under the Consumer Protection Act: €305. In this example, the invoice payable one month after purchase is €305. Credit provider: Svea Bank AB (publ), filial i Finland, Mechelininkatu 1a, FI-00180 Helsinki. Svea may agree with the retailer on prices differing from those stated above. You can also pay your invoice in smaller monthly instalments Account credit is a one-time credit that allows you to split the invoice into smaller monthly payments in a way that is suitable for you. If you want to pay the invoice in instalments, you need to familiarize yourself with the credit account terms and conditions that have been sent to you with the invoice and approve them with your signature. After approving the terms with your signature, you can pay the minimum amount on the invoice. You can pay the remaining credit amount at any time without any additional charges for unused credit time. Part payment Part payment is a one-time credit, which allows you to pay for your purchase with the payment period of your choice and fixed monthly instalment. You can choose the most suitable payment plan from the options offered at the webshop. The buyer must be at least 21 years old. You can check your open Part Payments from My Pages. The use of Svea's part payment requires an approved credit decision. When applying for credit, the applicant gives permission to request information from other lenders on the customer survey information system of Suomen Asiakastieto Oy. We will also check the applicant's credit information. A customer, whose credit application has been rejected, has the right to apply for a new credit decision by providing additional information through contacting Svea’s customer service. B2B Invoice Svea offers you an easy and safe way to make purchases by invoice. When you choose to pay with invoice, you will always get at least 14 days payment time. Interest for delayed payments is a legitimate interest for late payment. We charge minimum 5 EUR for payment reminders. The use of Svea’s B2B invoice requires an approved credit decision. The buyer assures to be entitled to act on behalf of the company whose data is being used to make the purchase. Svea has the right to verify the buyer’s right to sign or other given purchase rights in that company. 6. Returns
The tickets bought from Särkänniemi online store can't be changed or returned after purchase (Consumer Protection Act (Kuluttajansuojalaki) 38/1978, Chapter 6, 16 § (30.12.2013/1211)).
7. Problems
Särkänniemi won’t be responsible for problems during the ordering caused by third parties (for example payment services).
Särkänniemi reserves the right not to deliver products if, for example, due to a system error, it has been possible to order products at a substantially incorrect price. In this case, Särkänniemi can cancel the order and return the amount of the order to the customer.
8. Season Card and Attractions Season Card
Season Card is a personal card with photo attached, that gives you the access to all the rides (within safety limitations) and attractions (Näsinneula Observation Tower, Doghill Fairytale Farm, Planetarium and Aquarium) within the opening hours. Attractions Season Card gives you access to Särkänniemi Amusement Park, Doghill Fairytale Farm, Näsinneula Observation Tower, Aquarium, and Planetarium. Attractions Season Card does not include rides.
You can use the Digi Card immediately after purchasing it on our website. In addition you can purchase a traditional plastic card. In case of purchasing the plastic card, the card will be delivered to your home by mail within the postal delivery times. You can use the Digi Card immediately also in the case of purchasing the plastic card.
Please show the Digi Card on your smart device at the gate of the Amusement Park and when visiting rides or attractions. You can also print out the Digi Card. If you wish to use the Digi Card printed out by yourself, please pay attention that the QR code is readable throughout your visit to Särkänniemi. The QR code is connected to your name and photo that are visible on the QR code reader. Misuse will result in invalidation of the card.
Attention! The Season Card photo will be downloaded by yourself. The photo needs to be clear close-up potrait and the person needs to be identifiable. No hats or sunglasses can be worn. Please also check the spelling of your name. The photo or the name cannot be changed after purchase! If you cannot be identified from the photo, the Season Card will not be accepted at the rides or attractions.
