In summer 2016, Särkänniemi welcomed the headline-breaking thrill ride X! A 360 degrees rotating pendulum-like ride holding up to 30 passengers 30 meters above the ground at its highest. The maximum speed of X is 80km/h and acceleration can reach a staggering 4,7g. This acceleration is higher than a space shuttle launch! This ride is truly aimed towards the more demanding thrill seekers.
