Särkänniemi’s Black Week starts Fri 21 Nov – save tens of euros!
Now’s the time for cheap thrills! Black Week is celebrated in Särkänniemi’s online store from 21 Nov–3 Dec 2025 and at Kauppakeskus Ratina’s Christmas Market on Sat 22 Nov from 11 am to 4 pm.
Grab wristbands for the whole family at super affordable prices! These wristbands let you enjoy the park on any open day during the summer season 2026 – with no reservation needed.

With the Särkänniemi Wristband, you’ll experience all of Särkänniemi – including the new family-friendly roller coaster!
With the Attractions Wristband, you’ll experience Näsinneula, the Aquarium, the Planetarium, Doghill Fairytale Farm, and the amusement park without the rides.
You can also combine wristbands — for example, your shopping cart may include two Särkänniemi Wristbands and two Attractions Wristbands, and you will get both at a cheaper price!

Although the rides are already in winter hibernation, there is still plenty happening at Särkänniemi during the winter. The atmospheric Doghill Christmas will be celebrated this year on December 12–14 and 19–21, 2025. This nostalgic Christmas event, suitable for the whole family, invites visitors to dive into Mauri Kunnas’s Koiramäki fairytale world and meet animal friends through play and treats. Tickets for the event are now on sale.

Särkänniemi’s Creepy Carnival once again attracted a record number of visitors. The event, held for the ninth time, drew fun-seekers who enjoyed the autumn weather even more enthusiastically than last year. The new horror attraction PHOBIA LAB and the family-friendly Oasis of Tricks received plenty of praise from visitors. A big thank you to every guest — see you at the amusement park again next year!
Summer 2025 wristbands at the Creepy Carnival
Särkänniemi wristbands and Rides wristbands can still be used at the Creepy Carnival in October. Some wristbands work as they are, but some wristbands may need to be activated or changed before the visit.
If you have a Särkänniemi wristband that is bought either in Särkänniemi, or bought/received through a trade union, association, Telia etc., the wristband activates automatically for the day when the QR-code is first scanned in Särkänniemi. If you have Särkänniemi wristband, for an open date that is purchased through our online store, the wristband must be activated before your visit. So please contact our customer service when you know the date of your visit.
If you have a Rides wristband or a Särkänniemi wristband tied to a date, you must exchange the wristband at our ticket booths on the day of the visit. If the original purchase price is cheaper than the Carnival wristband (€44), the price difference must be paid. Please be prepared to show the receipt or order confirmation when exchanging the ticket
TakeOff is leaving Särkänniemi’s selection
TakeOff, manufactured in 1997 and thrilling daredevils at Särkänniemi since 2006, has reached the end of its journey. The TakeOff ride will be recycled by the Finnish family-owned company Kuusakoski Ltd. The material will be delivered as recycled raw material for the steel industry. TakeOff is being removed to make way for a large new family roller coaster opening in summer 2026. Relocating TakeOff to another site was considered, but due to the ride’s age, it was assessed that its lifecycle has no further potential. We thank TakeOff for many joyful summers. Letting go of the old soon means welcoming something new to Särkänniemi.
Särkänniemi and Turva Announce the New Ride for Summer
Särkänniemi's new ride for the summer of 2025 is called Drifti. The rally-themed ride is being branded in collaboration with the insurance company Turva.
