Särkänniemi and Turva Announce the New Ride for Summer
Särkänniemi's new ride for the summer of 2025 is called Drifti. The rally-themed ride is being branded in collaboration with the insurance company Turva. This partnership with the Tampere-based Turva also brings back the ride buddy service! Turva-sponsored ride buddies will be available at Särkänniemi from Midsummer until the start of the school year. If your height or courage isn’t enough to ride alone, you can take a Turva ride buddy along with you.

Särkänniemi Amusement Park first opened to the public on May Day Eve in 1975. This year, the park celebrates its 50th anniversary, bringing plenty of joy and little surprises to the summer season.
The anniversary year kicks off spectacularly on May 1, 2025, when youth-favorite artist Hugo takes the stage. Admission to the event is available with a Särkänniemi wristband, Rides wristband, Attractions wristband, Amusement Park entrance ticket, Season Card, or Attraction Season Card for that day.

In celebration of Särkänniemi Amusement Park’s 50th anniversary, we are offering a free Särkänniemi wristband to everyone turning 50 this year during the park’s opening days in May. All individuals born in 1975 can receive a free Särkänniemi wristband by presenting a photo ID (driver’s license, passport, or official ID card) at the Särkänniemi ticket booth on the day of their visit. This benefit is personal, and the wristband will be placed directly on the visitor's wrist at the ticket booth. The offer applies only to new visits, and previously purchased wristbands cannot be refunded.

The benefit can be obtained with the Särkänniemi Wristband or with the order confirmation received via email on the visit date. Using it is easy: simply scan the QR code of the Wristband or the order confirmation on the ticket reader when entering bus or tram. You can travel between 9 am and midnight for a total of two journeys: to Särkänniemi and back.
The benefit only includes Särkänniemi Wristbands purchased from Särkänniemi's online store. The benefit does not apply to other products such as Amusement Park Ticket, Doghill Ticket, or a product that is called "Särkänniemi Wristband, open date".
