Särkänniemi amusement park was filled with light and art in December as Valkea 2023 – Light and Art Festival took place at the amusement park for the first time. We want to thank all the visitors! Valkea will be back again in 2024.

Art, light and performers
Produced in collaboration with artist Kari Kola and other top names, this internationally significant visual art event features Kola as the artistic director. He has designed a unique, unseen light installation artwork just for the Särkänniemi Theme Park.
Light and art create a cohesive, surreal fairytale world in Särkänniemi. The rides won't be operational during the event; experiences within the amusement park are crafted through light, art, music, and performers instead.
