Bookings
The booking is binding when Särkänniemi has confirmed it orally or by e-mail.
Prices Mentioned in the Offers
The offer has been made using the prices inclusive of VAT that were valid at the time of the offer. Please note that the billable prices of products and services will change if VAT rates change. The charges will be based on the VAT-inclusive prices valid at the time of billing.
Terms of payment
Unless otherwise agreed, the customer pays in cash, debit or credit card.
Billing
Invoicing must be agreed in advance and e-invoicing is primarily used. If the person being invoiced is unable to receive the e-invoices, the invoice will be sent in paper form. At the time of booking, the billing address must include the official name, business ID, postal address and any e-invoice address, name of the e-invoice operator and broker ID entered in the company's trade register / tax administration register.
In case of invoicing, the payment must be made within 14 days. The handling fee is 10 € / invoice. The default interest is in accordance with the Interest Act.
Meeting packages, room reservations and private events
Meeting packages, room reservations and private events include pre-agreed and separately priced products, services and facilities.
Cancellations
If the customer cancels the meeting package, room reservation or private event, the following will be charged as cancellation fee:
• cancellation 14–6 days before the event 25% • cancellation 5-0 days before the event 50%
Cancellations can be made free of charge until 15 days prior to the event.
Events and happenings
The following special conditions apply to private parks or comparable events in the Särkännniemi area.
Bookings
The booking is binding when Särkänniemi has confirmed it orally or by e-mail. A fee will be charged for private parks and comparable events at the time of confirmation. The booking fee will be discounted from the total price of the order. In case of cancellation, the booking fee will not be refunded.
Number of participants
The number of participants must be confirmed five (5) weeks prior to the event at the latest.
Cancellation policy
If the customer cancels the private event or a comparable event, the following will be charged as cancellation fee:
• 21 days prior to the event: free of charge, except for the booking fee, which is non-refundable in case of cancellation • 20–7 day days prior to the event: 50% of the price is charged • 6–0 days prior to the event: the price is charged in full.
Restaurant services
Number of participants
The number of participants must be confirmed at least five (5) business days prior to the visit. The offered price is valid if the confirmed number of people at the event is +/- 20% of the number of people stated in the offer. The minimum number of customers is used as the basis for invoicing. If the event is canceled later than 5 days before the event, Särkänniemi has the right to charge the agreed price for the event. In the case of beverages, this means beverages which cannot be resold or which have been purchased / prepared specifically for the event.
Cancellations
If the customer cancels the restaurant reservation, the following will be charged as a cancellation fee: • cancellation 14–6 days prior to the event 25% • cancellation 5–0 days prior to the event 50%
Cancellations can be made free of charge until 15 days prior to the event.
Other terms and conditions
Special arrangements
If Särkänniemi obtains special permits at the request of the customer (e.g. permission for extended opening hours, for dancing or for other performances) or other special arrangements (e.g. purchasing of a program, orchestra, decorations and structures) at the request of the customer, the customer is liable to pay for any extra costs in case of cancellation.
Contact person
The customer must appoint a contact person for the event. The customer undertakes to follow the instructions of the Särkänniemi staff in matters concerning the use of premises and areas as well as furniture and equipment.
Liability of the parties
The customer is obliged to protect the premises and furniture from damage. The customer shall be liable for all direct damages caused by the customer's personnel to Särkänniemi's equipment, property or movable property and to the public by acting contrary to the instructions. The customer is responsible for the equipment or movable property brought to Särkänniemi. The customer shall not be liable to Särkänniemi or Särkänniemi to the customer for any indirect damages caused by violating this agreement.
Temporary structures
The customer has no right to make changes to the premises, build or attach temporary structures, signs or such without prior agreement with Särkänniemi.
Transfer of contract
The customer has no right to transfer the contract or transfer the leased premises to a third party without the consent of Särkänniemi.
Changes
Amendments to the contract must always be made in writing. After confirming the reservation, Särkänniemi has the right to increase and correspondingly the obligation to reduce the agreed price if the taxes or public charges affecting the price of the service change.
Force majeure
In case of a strike, fire or other unforeseen and severely disruptive event, Särkänniemi has the right to cancel the event without any obligation to pay compensation. The same applies to the other party of the contract. Särkänniemi has the right to make a new offer for the confirmed event, replacing the previous offer, if the business premises that are the subject of the reservation are out of use due to the renewal of the premises, etc.
Disputes
Disputes concerning the agreement, which cannot be settled through negotiations, will be resolved in the Pirkanmaa District Court at first instance.
