On August 5th, 2025, HKFoods’ Producer Day was celebrated at Särkänniemi. The Producer Day has been organized at Särkänniemi since the 2010s. In the 2020s, there were a few gap years, but based on feedback from the producers, the event was brought back to Särkänniemi in 2024. Now in August 2025, the Producer Day was once again held at Särkänniemi in a joyful atmosphere.

“It is always nice to come to Särkänniemi. It is really easy and pleasant to organize an event here. Särkänniemi’s nationwide recognition as a high-quality leisure destination for the whole family definitely increases our producers’ interest in participating in this event,” says Mikaela Chaigneau, who is responsible for producer communications at HKFoods.

One of the criteria for choosing the venue is its central location. HKFoods’ producers live in different parts of Finland, so Tampere and Särkänniemi are easy to reach from anywhere. For this reason, other producer-targeted events are also organized in the Tampere region during the year. The Producer Day at Särkänniemi is special in that producers can also bring their families along.

At Särkänniemi, it is possible to arrange private park events and amusement park gatherings. The amusement park event organized by HKFoods makes it possible to enjoy a shared and relaxed day at Särkänniemi while the park is also open to other visitors.

“This type of amusement park event has suited us particularly well, as producers can meet each other and us, but the program is not strictly predetermined. Instead, everyone can spend a joyful and memorable day with their own family. This year we distributed 450 Särkänniemi wristbands to producers, allowing them to visit Särkänniemi on the shared day according to their own schedule,” Chaigneau explains.
